The Origins Of Mother’s Day

Today Mother’s Day or Mothering Sunday is celebrated all over the world. For florists and card shops the event is one of the highlights of the year, but the roots of Mother’s Day are not commercial.

Motherhood has been celebrated since ancient times. The ancient Greeks paid homage to Rhea, the Mother of Gods; and there are records of the ancient Romans worshiping a mother Goddess known as Cybele as early as 260 BC. Festivals took place in the spring which was the most fertile time of the year.

The more modern way of honouring mothers began in England in the 1600s where Mothering Sunday was observed on the fourth Sunday of Lent. This day is also known as ‘Refreshment Sunday’, the only day when you are allowed to eat or do whatever you have given up for Lent. Not surprisingly, families came together and took the opportunity to party with a big meal at which mother was treated as the guest of honour. Traditionally, mothers were given posies of flowers and a cake.

The term ‘Mothering Sunday’ is now falling into disuse and has mostly been replaced by ‘Mother’s Day’, which is used the world over.

In the USA there were several attempts to introduce a Mother’s Day as a way to celebrate peace and heal the scars of war. Julia Ward, who wrote the words to the Battle Hymn of the Republic, suggested the idea in 1872. But the idea didn’t really take off until Anna Jarvis campaigned for the establishment of a Mother’s Day to commemorate her own mother who died in 1905. Ward’s mother herself had tried to establish a similar holiday, Mother’s Friendship Day, to heal the pain of the Civil War.

The first Mother’s Day in the USA was held in 1907 when Julia Ward held a ceremony to honour her mother. She then successfully campaigned for a formal holiday to honour mothers and by 1911 most states had taken up the idea. This was followed in 1914 by a declaration by President Woodrow Wilson that Mother’s Day should be celebrated as a national holiday on the second Sunday in May. The idea quickly spread to Canada and Mexico and many more countries throughout the world.

The commercialisation of Mother’s Day quickly followed, much to the disgust of Anna Jarvis who was arrested in 1923 at a Mother’s Day festival for trying to stop women selling flowers. Jarvis said “I wanted it to be a day of sentiment not profit”.

Ironically Anna Jarvis campaigned for many years against the commercialisation of Mother’s Day, the day she had worked so hard to establish.

Although she had no children of her own, each Mother’s Day Anna received hundreds of cards from all over
the world. Anna Jarvis died in 1948.

Debt Management or Debt Consolidation?

For people struggling with debt, both a debt management plan and a debt consolidation loan can be effective in helping to make those debts more manageable.

It’s always a good idea to speak to a professional debt adviser before deciding which debt solution is right for you. However, here is a short guide to how each debt solution could help you.

Debt management plan
A debt management plan can help you to reduce the amount you pay towards your debts each month. It is an informal arrangement between you and your creditors in which you will agree to repay your full debts at a more manageable pace than your original terms.

It’s possible to arrange a debt management plan by yourself, but since this can be time-consuming, many people prefer to let a professional debt management company do the work on their behalf. If you choose to do this, you will usually make a single payment to your debt adviser each month, who will then divide the money amongst your creditors.

As well as lower monthly payments, it may be possible to negotiate a freeze on interest and other charges, which can help to prevent your debts from increasing.

Best for: People who are struggling with multiple debts, and would benefit from repaying them over a longer period.

Debt consolidation loan
A debt consolidation loan is a new loan taken out to pay off your existing debts, essentially ‘consolidating’ several debts into one. As well as simplifying your finances and making them easier to manage, it can also reduce your monthly outgoings.

Many people who take out a debt consolidation loan choose to spread their repayments over a longer period than the original debts, meaning each monthly payment is lower than if they had kept the same repayment duration. However, if you decide to do this, you may also pay interest for longer.

However, if the interest rate on your debt consolidation loan is lower than the combined APR on your original debts, you may still end up paying less interest overall (compared with the original debts). If you’re unsure, a debt adviser can help you to establish whether it is the most appropriate option for your circumstances.

Best for: People who either want to ‘put their eggs in one basket’ - i.e. simplify their finances - or who want to reduce their debt repayments to make them more affordable.

The Odds of Succeeding on the Euromillions and Does Anyone Stand a True Chance of Winning the Jackpot

The prospects of scooping the euromillions jack-pot is a remote one in seventy-six million but the odds of winning a cash prize is a fairly decent one : twenty four. When the jackpot is not won in a given lotto draw, it is carried forward to the next lotto draw which results in an ever increasing jackpot value. New rules added on the 09/02/2007 define the amount of consecutive rollovers to eleven, with the jackpot rolled out to lower value levels on the eleventh lotto draw if the prize is not won.

The Euro millions lottery or the Euro Lottery, as it is ordinarily renowned, pools the lotto ticket receipts of the nine partaking Euro countries giving a immense Euro Lottery jackpot. With the number of countries joining the Euro on the increase, this will without question will lead to new countries participating in the Euro Millions lotto. A growth in the number of people partaking in the Euromillions Lottery will lead to a prolonged growth of the already immense European Lottery jackpots.

The new regulations likewise initiated Euro Millions Super Draw which come about twice annually plus they offer jack-pots in the region of 100 million pounds. The difference with Super-Draws is that the jackpot must be won during the week of the draw; as a result, if there is no lottery ticket corresponding, all the drawn numbers then the top prize will then be distributed to the lottery ticket bearer(s) on the next winning prize level.

Each participant must choose five primary numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Lucky-star numbers from 1 to 9. During the lottery draw, 5 main and two lucky-star numbers are then chosen at random from 2 lotto draw machines containing numbered balls.

Travel in Australia

Australia is located in the Southern Hemisphere and it is over twenty times the size of the United Kingdom has the lowest population density in the world, with only two people per square kilometre, has more than seven thousand beaches (more than any other country) and covers three time zones. It is also the sixth largest country and smallest continent on the planet.

Aboriginal settlers first arrived in Australia from Southeast Asia, forty thousand years before even the first Europeans came in the 17th century. As no formal territorial claims were made at that particular time, it was a British Captain James Cook who landed at Botany Bay with convicts, outside Sydney who took possession in 1770. Colonies were then created to become what is now the termed the commonwealth of Australia.

The country developed rapidly, and made a significant contribution to Britain’s war efforts in world wars one and two. Australia is truly a country of magical contrasts and is the driest and hottest country on earth, however it is a fabulous all year round holiday destination. In the Australian winter you can ski in the southern states one day and be diving in the balmy waters of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland the next.

Australia’s cities are dynamic and thriving, with areas of outstanding natural beauty and vast, extremely remote, un-populated and isolated regions. The majority of Australians live 50 Km (~30 miles) or less from the coast and much of the interior is un-populated. Travelling through some remote or isolated parts of Australia can be an extremely hazardous experience and should not be undertaken unless prepared.

The country is divided into six states, two mainland territories and several external territories and dependencies and comprises the mainland, the island of Tasmania and a multitude of smaller off shore islands such as The Whitsundays located off the northeast coast

The Great Barrier Reef is undoubtedly Australia’s premier attraction. At over 1,400 miles in length, the Great Barrier Reef is reckoned to be the world’s largest natural feature and can even be seen from space! It consists of thousands of individual reefs and over 600 islands; the Barrier Reef is best-enjoyed scuba diving or glass boating. Visiting the Great Barrier Reef is a “must do” activity and trips there can be organised out of the tourist resorts of Cairns or Port Douglas

The Red Centre, located in the Northern Territory, is both the physical and spiritual centre of Australia. It is spiritual to the aboriginal people and as such is the site of the world famous Uluru (Ayers Rock), reddish rock that is the world’s largest monolith. Climbing this rock is deemed offensive to the Aborigines and is therefore discouraged at most to ignorant tourists. Posing in stark contrast to its flat surrounding, Uluru is best viewed at sunrise and sunset when its colour seems to change in mysterious and magical ways.

Sydney is definitely a must see, has many attractions and fabulous setting in which to enjoy them. The city’s natural harbour features the ultimately spectacular Opera House, the Rocks (the original penal colony in Australia), Darling Harbour, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.Throw in some great beaches (Bondi, Manly, Chinaman’s) and it’s famous Gastronomic delights and you begin to realize why Sydney is a truly world class city. No wonder the recent Olympics were voted one of the best ever!

Melbourne is the most stylish city in Australia as it is home to a neat blend of modern and Victorian architectures. Federation Square and great places for eating drinking and shopping

Canberra is the capital and government centre of Australia. It is a purpose built, ultra modern high tech city. It is not one for a historical or character outlook because of this. However trips to Parliament house and the National Gallery are worth doing.

It has to be mentioned that Australia’s flora and fauna are truly unique, nowhere else on earth are such to be found. The nature is so diverse and very interesting, so strange that the creatures hop or burrow and carry their young in pouches. It was once considered that the country had a different evolutionary path than the rest of the world’s species. Seeing the nature there is quite an experience, on a par with Africa, although the creatures are not quite as physically imposing.

Travel by Bus

All the cities of Australia are well served by buses, which travel throughout the entire city. Buses are available for both inner-city tourist attractions, which features numerous sightseeing stops around, and buses are also available for attractions, travelling up to around 30 miles from the city. Bus fares in most cities are purchased from the bus driver and there are discount ticket options available.

Travel by Taxi

Taxis in the cities is an economic option for shorter journeys and taxicabs travel all over the centres and suburbs. Cabs can be flagged down on the streets, while taxi ranks are to be found outside the Airports, bus stations, railway stations and many other locations.

Travel by Car Hire/Rental

Renting a car can be an economical way to travel around the Australian city areas, with some firms offering discounts for rentals of three days and over. To rent a car you must show a full driver’s licence and a credit card in the driver’s name. Cars are usually rented to customers between the ages of 23 to 70 years, although some companies can make exceptions.

Distribute tasks
Help each other especially when packing. Give each one a responsibility. This way, your load can be lessened and everyone would feel the importance of each one’s contribution.

Travel light
Since most of the space of your car would be for people, pack only the essential things you need. If possible you can hire strollers for the kids instead of carrying one. Transfer shampoos, mouthwash and the like in small plastic containers instead of bringing the entire thing. Remember that travelling light doesn’t mean travelling incomplete. Carry all important stuff you need to bring.

Always carry with you a medicine kit for emergencies. This should include aspirins, laxative, insect repellant, bandages, ointments and alcohol. More importantly, bring enough prescription drugs if any of the family members is on medication. Bring enough to last for the entire duration of the trip.

Take pictures and videos to document your trip. Take turns in using the camera, this way everyone will get a memorable shot taken. You can take the pictures and put them in a nice travel journal when you get home. This way you can enjoy the fun memories as often as you want.

Travel Bargain Or Travel Scam? How To Know The Difference

Congratulations!!! You have been selected to win an exciting luxury vacation to…….

Where have you heard that one before? Although there are many genuine travel offers, there are also many travel scams that defraud innocent travelers out of millions of dollars each month. Travel is a big ticket item and most people would like to save some money or even travel for free. Unfortunately, it opens the door to some unscrupulous individuals and companies who try to take advantage of this.

Travel packages turn out to be very different from what was originally offered or what the “winner” expected. Sometimes, the company just takes the money and runs! So if you get a phone call or email offering a free or extremely low-priced vacation , keep these tips in mind:

The Most Common Travel Scams

- Emails, phone calls, or snail mail advising that you have been selected to “win” a free vacation, free airfare, or a hotel stay, especially when you haven’t entered anything.

- Ads for great travel deals or discounts with the condition that you agree to a time share presentation. You will be subjected to a high pressure sales pitch that is really not worth your time - unless of course you really are interested in buying a timeshare!

- Travel clubs that charge a fee for their great travel discounts and offers. There are of course may legitimate travel clubs but there are just as many that are not. Do your research well to make sure it is worth it.

- Contests which do not post or provide rules or requirements or even any details about the company running it. A legitimate contest will provide rules to participants and if it does not, it is probably just a ploy to get information on you.

How to Spot the Red Flags

- Does the price seem too good to be true? If so, it probably is.

- Are you pressured to make a decision on the spot?

- Did you get the call after business hours. Legitimate businesses normally operate between regular business hours.- Did they require you to pay before you receive any details about the trip, or ask you to pay for more information.- Are you told you can’t leave for two months? This should be cause for concern because the deadline for disputing a credit card charge is 60 days. - Is the supplier simply identified as “a major airline,” or a “popular hotel” without getting into specifics?

- If you have won a free vacation, you should not be asked to pay hundreds of dollars in order to “claim” your prize.

How to protect yourself from Travel Scams

- Determine the complete cost of the trip in dollars, including all service charges, taxes, processing fees, etc.

- Pay by credit card, if you don’t get what you paid for, you may be able to dispute the charges with your credit card company.

- Don’t be pressured into buying anything, legitimate businesses don’t pressure you to make a purchase.

- Get a receipt in writing. If you make reservations online, print out the itinerary and receipt.

- Find out the exact names of the hotels, airports, airlines, and restaurants that your package includes; if they tell you a “major hotel chain” or “major airline” ask for specifics

- Always ask for a copy of the cancellation and refund policies.- If you are told that you’ve won a free vacation, ask if you have to pay any money in order to get it.

- Be aware of what “subject to availability” means may not get the accommodations you want when you want them.

- Be aware that if you have been “specially selected to receive our Super Duper Travel Deal offer” doesn’t mean you’ll get it free, it means you’ll be offered an opportunity to pay for a travel deal!

And last but not least, be skeptical. Read or listen to carefully what is being said, not what you want to hear. We would all like to win that all expenses paid dream vacation to Hawaii, but like everything else, you get what you pay for if you don’t pay attention first.

Low Cost Flights Make Your Self Catering Family Holiday Affordable

European family holiday destinations are becoming more accessible now than ever before, this is mainly due to the ever increasing amount of low cost airline operators flying to holiday resorts that were only available to the big flight operators and at a big price to match.

Maybe low cost is the wrong term, i think “realistic cost” should be the correct term to describe these new kids on the block. It has been a thorn in the consumers side for decades that the travel costs far out do the accommodation costs, well for once this may not be the case.
If consumers are quick of the mark, search intelligently, shop around and strike whilst the iron is hot then they can pick up a family flight at a very good price. As the cost of living is always on the increase and we expect to pay premium prices for everything then it’s a breath of fresh air that you can now fly half way across Europe at a smaller price that you would expect pay to get a train from London to manchester.

Self catering accommodation is now getting more luxurious as again we expect more home comforts in our holiday destination and as flights are cheaper we can now budget for a two week holiday rather than just managing to scrape enough money for a weeks holiday. Who is the the person that benefits from all of these factors? well it’s your children - they are spending valuable time with their parents enjoying their company and seeing a side to them that maybe they haven’t seen for a long time, and yes they can have that sought after love for longer than maybe a couple of years ago.
If the children go home happy then this was a holiday to remember.

You don’t have to look at every individual flight operators website to get the prices of your chosen flight, there are comparison websites or search sites where you can punch in the name of your holiday airport and your departure airport,it will then present you with the best priced operator - how cool is that?

Joining a companys newsletter is also a prudent move, they are not just an advertising tool for the company but they can also be an important source of information such as special deals, dates that certain pricing tables will be released, ticket availabiltiy ahead of the general public and also travel news that may be of use to you in the future. Let the company accumulate all of this information and drop it in your inbox once a week - that saves you a lot of leg work.

This article was written by Iain Williams, Iain is the Managing Director of the family holiday specialists Williams Holidays.

The company has grown from two mobile homes in France to one of the most innovotive holiday operators in Europe and now offers superior self catering accommodation in Italy, Spain, Cyprus and also Florida. http://www.williamsholidays.com

Valentine’s Day - Online Worship

Gazing the wide stretched blue carpet, with blows of zephyrs whispering and blowing leaves away, is the best way to rest your mind from the day-to-day hassle. It’s the time when every living thing seems to grow and is nourished by the augmentation of spring. The basic demand of existence is to get inner contentment, which can be obtained by the internal & external stability of an entity. In my two optically active balls the stability desire for man & women fluctuate in many ways. Man & woman made for each other may have different attitudes for gaining inner contention but share parallel ideas for gaining eternal and sentimental contentment. This doesn’t differentiate between any cast creed and race; all same one in for all. And the best way to articulate your feelings is to blast the mind-set on lovers’ day so called “Valentine’s Day”.

Every February across the whole world candies, flowers, gifts and cards are exchanged between the lovers, which is in remembrance of St. Valentine. Obviously we are living in an Islamic republic and here the concept of Christianity should not last but he has done some thing exceptional that’s why every religion is celebrating this day in his respect and spreading the message, which he narrated and preached in his time. There are many beliefs about this myth and this history is still cloaked in ambiguity. St. Valentine’s Day contains remnants of both Christian and ancient Roman Tradition.

Today, the Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine, all of whom were martyred. According to one myth, Valentine’s Day started in the time of the Roman Empire!

According to a myth, St. Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. Under the rule of Emperor Claudius II Rome was involved in many blood-spattered and ostracized campaigns. Claudius the brutal was having a difficult time getting armed forces to join his military leagues. He believed that the cause was that roman men did not want to leave their loves or families. As a result, Claudius cancelled all marriages and engagements in Rome. The good Saint Valentine was a priest at Rome in the days of Claudius II. He and Saint Marius aided the Christian martyrs and secretly married couples, and for this kind deed Saint Valentine was detained and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off. He suffered martyrdom on the 14th day of February, about the year 270.

According to another legend, Valentine actually sent the first ‘Valentine’ greeting him self. While he was in prison, Valentine fell in love with the jailer’s daughter. Many young people came to the jail to visit him and they threw flowers and notes up to St. Valentine’s window. They wanted him to know that they, too, believed in love.

One of those young people was the daughter of the prison guard. Her father allowed her to visit him in the cell. Sometimes they would sit and talk for hours. She helped him to keep his spirits up. She agreed that he did the right thing by ignoring the Emperor and going ahead with the secret marriages. On the day he was to die, he left a little note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty. He signed it, “Love from your Valentine.” That note started the custom of exchanging love messages on Valentine’s Day. It was written on the day St. Valentine died, February 14, 270 A.D. Now, every year on this day, people remember. But most importantly, they think about love and friendship. And when they think of Emperor Claudius, they remember how he tried to stand in the way of love, and they laugh — because they know that love can’t be beaten!

Since that it’s been a custom in most of all societies to express their emotions and love to their beloveds. The greeting card association mentions an estimated figure of one billion about the Valentines cards, which are sent across the world. This is the second largest card-sending holiday of the year first being Christmas. Women purchase approximately 85% of all valentines’ cards. Well this is a proven fact that women either black or white regardless of creed always are sensitive about the occasions of life. Whether it is their first love anniversary or breakup date, they would always think about the dates when they tied any virtual or real knot.
Cupid, another symbol of holiday, as he is the son of Venus, Roman god of love.

A love seat is a wide chair, which was first made to seat one woman and her wide dress. Later the love seat or courting seat had two sections, often in an S-shape. In this way a couple could sit together.

The first Valentine message (apart from the one St Valentine wrote himself!) is thought to be a verse from Charles, Duke of Orleans to his wife in 1415. He was captured at the Battle of Agincourt and was imprisoned in the Tower of London to await execution. But Valentine’s Day didn’t become popular in the UK until the 17th century. By the 18th century it was traditional for people to exchange handwritten messages of love. Printed cards soon replaced these, making it easier for people to say, “I love you” secretly. Charles d’Orléans’ ballade, composed in French and English, hearkens back to Chaucer’s Parliament of Fowles.

Written valentines began to appear after 1400. The oldest “valentine” in existence was made in the 1400’s and is in the British Museum. Paper valentines were exchanged in Europe where they were given in place of valentine gifts. Paper valentines were especially popular in England. Early valentines were made by hand and were made with colored paper, watercolors, and colored inks.

This was all about the history of the great Valentines Day. Now lets enjoy! I mean talk about the stuff given on this eve and the celebrations across the world. On this day it’s common for friends and lovers in all-social gatherings to exchange gifts flowers and hand written notes as a token of love and affection. Ready-made cards are also an easy way of expressing your emotions to your beloveds. The favorite symbols of valentine includes ‘oh my love you like a red rose’ which is said mostly to a women as rose is the symbol of peace, love and forgiveness. The eternal lovers are searching for their love all over and waiting for this day to come so that they can build all the courage they have to shower their love with flowers, chocolates, cards and gifts. You must have written a perfect love letter (now can be an email) may be once in a life time but I will here narrate one which is designed for those who are short of words and cant make their feelings explicable. This email has been a fruitful one and I hope same in future.

A perfect Email for your Valentine!

To My Valentine,
I hope you are in high spirits and have seen the sun shinning brighter than ever. I feel great by being the first one to wish you through an email, a very Happy Valentine’s Day. I would like to confess what I was feeling since ages but didn’t get the valor to speak my heart out. After a long time I have realized that the love, which we share, is not an ordinary love. It’s platonic with glamour of sensuality. Today is the day when our fate brought us together and carved the same line on cups of our palms. There was a lot about you, which peaked my attention and made my heart crave for the more of you. Every day since then has been a fte for me when your sight was over ruled by my imagination. I have many times vocalized that you have completed my world but today I will make a clean breast that you have completed me. I am now addicted to your love and all the time we have spent together, your love had showered my soul with the blessings of affection, drop by drop. My Love, when I say I love you; its not only those three words which are said by every lover but it’s the voice coming from the bottom of my spirit which can only be heard by you. I am trying to convey that how much I admire you in one thousand and one ways. Thank you for being a part of me and touching my soul with the brisk of life. I want our relation to last forever, which can never be mortal, and these three words mean the zillions of words inside my heart praising your being. Our love is the backbone of our lives from now on. This Valentine’s Day has brought me all the happiness, for your sight being visible and your heart being a part of me. Though we are different from each other, all that matters is that we love each other to remain one for the rest of our lives. I will continue to respect you and love you.

From Your Valentine!

Online Festivity of Valentine’s Day:

What do you think about online love? Obviously love is always on the line but most powerful method of getting socially sound is, now days, through computers which is the holy modernization as is a catalyst in God’s affairs. Email, Internet and Chat groups (communities) are three major examples of these catalysts. Online dating has been very common abroad and through this people can find their soul mates with the blink of eye. These are the forms which has given a rapid change to human to carve their own future and has made searching their mates easy. A number of sites have been designed specially to entangle singles that are in search and can meet, greet and feast on this special day. From friendship to marriages people are now reliable on spending their time on Internet rather than going out for a physical search. Virtual world has made every thing easy and available at doors. The attraction to “online rather cyber relations” are no more only for the teens or desperate men but its grabbing the attraction of sapiens on this planet. As in this era people are devoid of time and cant take time out to go physically and spend loads of time and after that all efforts going in vain as ending up in an early breakup. Many times lovers don’t get time to talk about their likes and dislikes. Internet is the best way as while chatting or signing up in any community people there are from your interest and caters a wide range of ideas to be interchanged.

Not to overlook those who are still in hunt of their soul mate. Cupid will surely hit them with his arrow one day. So for those, start hunting for the partner in a party arranged for this special day. Arrange a singles’ party where bid all your friends and their friends to choose amongst them. As it was done in early ages in Europe, don’t through balloting but just enjoying the party along with friends and their acquaintances. If at home then think about your puppy love or crushes. Read a good love book, (my fave is Men from Mars and women from Venus) watch a romantic movie and make your favorite dish in dinner and dine with family if not going out. You can also present a gift to your parents on this occasion to tell them they mean a lot to you regardless of the fact that it is lover’s day.

Online dating as mentioned earlier has been a very successful method of interaction. A famous website namely orkut is one of the hit amongst youth. It’s not specifically an online dating but a community through which you can discover the old friends and search new ones. Posting of special events which are being arrange on this valentine is on the list. These events include bachelors’ party, parties for couples and a lot more. Announcements of the events are also done on other sites but this is genuinely considered less fake! Red has been a color of love, passion and sentiments since ages. So you can see many of the websites loaded with the images of red balloons, flowers and hearts. Once there was a website which contained a special article on the Valentine’s Day and had Cupid in its cursor. For once I thought I am now the goddess of love and can hit anyone with my arrow.

The best gift for the upcoming Valentine’s Day is a romantic love announcement through Internet. It needs great courage for an introverted boy to say, ‘I love you’, face to face, then why not let me help you announce your undying devotion,” Sun said. Sun Lin (Shanghai Star January 27, 2003) is one of the few professional short message writers in Shanghai and every week he has to frame his brain to create at least 30 love messages on the Internet. Sun admitted that he is not a love expert. In fact he felt embarrassed when, in 2000, his department leader informed him that the company planned to initiate an online business named, “Sending love through the Internet” and he has been chosen - a 20-year-old boy just graduated from college - to be responsible for creating all the content. “As an occupation targeting young people, the first thing you have to know is to find out what they are pursuing. The Internet is the fastest, easiest way to achieve that”, He says.

Some of the couples that met through Internet and are now happily married were interviewed. Natasha and Umair both belong to entirely different subjects of life. Natasha studying in College of business and management (CBM) and other an engineer from NED. Natasha had a problem that she never wanted to engross her self in to the arrange marriage and couldn’t get the man of her choice. Even having a pretty face, she was seen always complaining about guys as she was never satisfied or when contented was afraid of the refusal. At the age of 24 she met a guy of 26 on the Internet through a chat room and her life started blooming. They started off discussing about social issues, home issues, and environmental issues then in the last their personal issues. With the duration of one year they realized that things were going smooth and they thought of tying the knot. The two had met on Internet dating service match.com, only four months before, but 36-year-old Graham had little doubt he was falling in love. He told BBC News Online: “I think you know in a few emails if you’re on the same wavelength, and after a month or two, you’re 99% sure.” His belief is supported by research from Internet psychologists, which suggests that getting to know each other online before meeting is a recipe for long-term stability. See My Love See
The Broken Arrow In The Sky,
Shining Bright & Gaily Silvered
Waiting For A Wish To Be Taken Away.
Wishing For The Aching Love To Be Blessed With
Momentarily Dazzling Glitter,
For Once The Heavenly Bodies Witnessed
The Sorrows In The Tear
And Bravery In The Fear.
The Gamut Of Emotions From The Mundane Joys
To The Eternal Despair,
Time We ‘ve Spent More
But Memories Force To Care.
With Respect I Select You To Rule My Soul,
To Fill The Empty Vessel Of Life
Giving Any Shape You cast.
I Don’t Want To Come On Scene
For The Mystifying Searching Eyes,
‘Tis No Big Deal To Look Around
And Kiss The Name With Gee.
With You In My Vision I See The Farthest Point
With Your Warmth My Chilling Body
Is Able To Shelter The Ice.
Every Single Drop Of Blood On This Milestone
Thee I Sacrifice In Your Way,
Today I ‘M Revealing My Ultimate Love For You,
Valentine Of The Day.

Birthday Gift Ideas

Birthday celebrations date back as far as biblical times, when celebrations among Pharaohs and other significant individuals have been mentioned. There is even some evidence to suggest that in pagan cultures people feared that evil spirits lurked about an individual on their birthday because they tended to become more malicious around important events in one’s life. In this case birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and actual births were all noted for their importance and their potential for harm. Because of this, gifts were often bestowed upon the celebrant as a means of wishing them well and offering good luck.

Though in times of old traditionally only kings and high ranking nobility had elaborate birthday celebrations, in modern times it is common for celebrations to be thrown for just about anyone. Many people spend a good deal of time pondering about birthday gift ideas, as well wishers still honor the celebrant with gifts on their birthday.

Coming up with birthday gift ideas each year might be challenging for the newbie, but it shouldn’t be. When you take into consideration an individual’s lifestyle, personality and hobbies, birthday gift ideas should abound.

For example, does the individual with an upcoming birthday enjoy sports? Perhaps they are a book worm. Maybe even a little bit of a diva, looking for some pampering type gifts. Regardless of the individual whose birthday is upcoming, you are bound to come up with many birthday gift ideas if you ponder on the person of honor for just a few moments.

In some cultures, it is not uncommon to forgo birthday celebrations until a child is old enough to understand the significance and welcomed as an adult member of the community. These celebrations are more similar to coming of age initiations that are practiced in many religions, such as the Jewish tradition of a Bar Mitzvah.

Birthday gift ideas might focus upon the significance of the age an individual is turning. For example in Latino cultures a girl’s 15th birthday is a significant event, marking a young girl’s transformation into womanhood. Gifts recognizing her achievement and maturity would be appropriate to offer in this situation.
