BoTox is fast becoming established amongst up-to-date Sydney society and now it has become a grooming essential for individuals in Sydney.
But I am often stunned when I hear the absurd myths about this simple procedure.
Here are a few of the myths which I encounter everyday at Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I practise as a physician.
Myth # 1: The muscles in my face will freeze!
The human face has about 60 muscles. The excessive use of these muscles may cause the formation of wrinkles. Too many treatments of BoTox have the effect of the facial muscles becoming somewhat less expressive. The dose used by virtually all physicians make you look less tired, yet you will still look every bit as expressive.
Please visit this terrific resource for Botulinum injections Sydney information!
Thus the correct dosage of BoTox in the proper site means one can get a reduction in any lines without reducing facial expression.
Myth # 2: Botulinum is poisonous!
This to a small extent is true. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the correct pharmaceutical nomenclature. In massive amounts it may result in a decrease in muscle tone and may even cause illness.
But to put the matter into perspective: an old pharmacy saying is that ‘everything is poisonous - it all depends on the dose’. All drugs might make anyone ill in large enough dosages. Water can be a poison if you take enough.
Myth # 3: BoTox hurts!
At Star Cosmetic Medicine the doctor will use hypodermic needles smaller than human hair. Several individuals compare the treatments to mosquito bites. It for certain is less painful than a procedure like a blood profile.
Myth # 4: I might lose sensation in my face!
Not true. Botulinum medicine works on the neuromuscular junction, not the nerves of sensation. BoTox just affects the ability to relax muscles.
Myth # 5. You cannot stop having BoTox or else the lines and wrinkles become more pronounced!
Again this is just false.
You can expect the first treatment to be effective for up to three months. Any treatments after the first consultation should be effective for a little longer. Eventually as muscle strength builds up again the wrinkles will reappear bit by bit. Even So they will not be worse than before the treatment.
Even if you don’t have BoTox ever again - any wrinkles should be less pronounced than if you had not been treated. This is primarily so due to the fact your facial muscles and skin have had a rest for a few months.

Botulinum therapy (abbreviated to Botox) has become important in Sydney society in fact it is becoming a beauty routine necessity for numerous individuals in the Harbour City. But I never fail to be amazed by the absurd misconceptions surrounding this treatment.
Here I have listed some of the misunderstandings which I encounter everyday in Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I work as a physician.
Misunderstanding # 1: Botox can freeze all my facial expressions!
The human face has about 60 muscles. These muscles ordinarily work in harmony, however over time fine lines can form. Too many doses of Botox have the effect of the forehead looking a liile bit less taut. The dosage injected by most physicians result in you seeming refreshed, however you will still look every bit as expressive.
Therefore by employing a carefully calculated quantity of the wrinkle injection in just the right muscles one can have a reduction in any lines without compromising facial expression.
We strongly recommend you surf to our brilliant page for Botulinum injections Sydney ideas…
Misunderstanding # 2: Botox is toxic!
This to a small extent is right. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the exact pharmacological nomenclature. An overdose can result in a decrease in muscle tone or can cause illness.
Pharmacists have an old saying that ‘everything is a poison - it all depends on the dose’. A large quantity of any medicinal drug may induce sickness. If you drink too much water you will die.
Misunderstanding # 3: Botox hurts!
Your hairs are thicker than the hypodermic needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine. Many individuals have said that the shots aren’t worse than a bug bite. Certainly not in the same ball park as compared to getting a blood test.
Misunderstanding # 4: I will lose sensation in my face!
Totally incorrect. Botox affects the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, and not on the nerves of sensation. Botox only targets the relaxation of muscles.
Misunderstanding # 5. You cannot stop having Botox otherwise you will get even worse wrinkles than ever!
Also wrong.
B.tox is expected to last for upwards of three months. Later treatments do last a few weeks more. The wrinkles will eventually return as the muscle returns to normal. But they will certainly not be any deeper than before.
Even if you do not have Botox treatments again - any wrinkles will likely be a little less pronounced than if you had not been treated. Due to the fact that your facial muscles and skin have had a rest when the treatment was effective.

My hair loss treatment journey began the day I started to notice my thinning hair and my bald spot becoming bigger. I would always find ways to comb my hair in a certain way to hide my hair loss. I began to wear more and more caps on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Walking in to work every morning was an embarrassing experience without my hat on. Your thoughts changes when you are suffering from hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.
As I looked in the mirror I began to treasure every one of the hair strands I had left. It was as if with each individual hair I lost, so was a small percentage of my confidence gone as well. A friend of mine had been suffering the same problem as me. Yet lately he seemed so much more relaxed and I noticed that it was as if his hair was growing back. I never wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when I was recommended to Advanced Hair Studio. My friend Josh told me that he had only had a few treatments and has already started to see some results, he not only regained his hair, but his self-confidence as well. After speaking to Josh and understanding what Advanced Hair has done for him, I took the courage to make an appointment for a free consultation.
At first, I was a little sceptical. But within a few weeks the results were . Not only on my head, but in my behaviour. I began to lose the caps on the weekends and I quickly started to feel better about myself. My wife has also observed a change in my day to day attitude as well. It is amazing how just a few consultations to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I always felt as if the first thing people observed about me was my bald spot. Now, I am not terrified to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of self esteem back.
Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back a full set of hair, but a big part of my life as well. If you are going through hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your self-confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

As an dignified woman,
I didn’t think I would eventually depend on well-constructed synthetic wigs for fashion. Thus, on some days, I often recall my mother fixing her unforgettable Marge Simpson hair, which looked like a cornucopia of wigs, in the car’s rearview. It was quite magically inspiring to us as a vision for any woman who saw it, and she showed it off all the time. The woman could suppress its powers, no matter who they were. The woman had no desire for wigs. Observing her this way made me feel that this is something I could look forward to on a day to day basis.
You know, a lot of things are a far cry from how you imagine. Wigs are actually a piece of daily routine, and I like how great they feelthem! Let me tell you about it. Recently my hair stated falling out. It was medical hair loss because of the lukema. My doctor thoughtfully advised I look at lace front wigs. Instead, the only way I knew to get a grip was to breakdown and call my mom, Ginger.
My husband mentioned this may not go well, due to the fact of my mother’s life-long hair of perfection especially when it comes to hair fashions. I know how she labors over her hair, however the grass is always tastier on the other side. I sent her a note to go shopping for
synthetic wigs with me. However, I lied a bit and didn’t reveal my medical hair loss. I made it off that we were purely enjoying a great summer afternoon of shopping and lunch.
At lunch I started to cry and told her why I wanted to see her about my hair loss. Things seemed to be going down a peculiar road, but low and behold my mother broke down and said lost her hair and has worn

Sydney Botulinum injections (BoTox for short) is now in vogue amongst up-to-date Sydney society and now it has become a grooming essential for many in the Harbour City. But I am always surprised by the various stories that have been heard about the simple procedure.
Here I have outlines a few of the misunderstandings that I encounter working as a physician at Star Cosmetic Medicine located in Pyrmont, Sydney.
Mistaken Belief # 1: I might lose my facial expressions!
Below the skin of the face are sixty or so muscles. Their unrelenting use can cause the formation of wrinkles. The overuse of BoTox can lead to the muscles of the face becoming too relaxed. By and large doctors use comparatively small dosages to are calculated to make you look well rested, but still you will keep your normal expression.
So a carefully calculated amount of BoTox in the appropriate site means an expressive face is saved whilst the wrinkles undergo a softening effect.
Mistaken Belief # 2: BoTox is toxic!
Actually there is a little truth in this argument. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the exact scientific nomenclature. Too great a quantity can relax facial muscles that you do not want relaxed and can even make one extremely sick.
Pharmacists have a well-known phrase ‘everything is poisonous - it all depends on the dose’. Every drug in a big enough dosage will make you unwell. If you drink too great a quantity of water you will die.
Mistaken Belief # 3: Wrinkle injections will be painful!
Your hairs are thicker than the needles we have at Star Cosmetic Medicine. Several people liken the shots to mosquito bites. Definitely not as bad as getting a blood test.
Mistaken Belief # 4: I might lose sensation in my face!
This is totally false. BoTox affects the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerve fibers. Only the ability to relax muscles is impacted by BoTox.
Mistaken Belief # 5. You have to keep getting BoTox or else you may wrinkle quicker than before!
Again this is just incorrect.
One BoTox treatment will be effective for around 3 months. Further treatments tend to last longer. The wrinkles will gradually return as the muscle returns to normal. Nevertheless your lines won’t be more pronounced than before the treatment.
As A Matter Of Fact any lines will generally be softer than if you hadn’t undergone BoTox treatment - even should you don’t repeat the therapy. Primarily due to the fact that your facial muscles and skin have had a rest during the treatment.

Hair loss is common among young men. Even though it’s normal, it’s no less harrowing for the person concerned. The balding process is usually an early sign of ageing, and can happen as early as just 16 or 17 years old, giving rise to social anxiety and even depression. While the public at large view baldness as perfectly normal, it’s not a laughing matter when it’s you who is experiencing baldness.
Male pattern baldness (Androgenic alopecia) impacts men in various ways. Some guys don’t experience any type of balding process until very late into life. Others suffer the usual balding pattern : a gradual receding around the temples. Other male balding patterns include the crown area first, or a quick thinning of all hair.
If every man lost his hair at the same rate in the same pattern, it might be contended that we wouldn’t see it as so excruciating. Nevertheless, it’s the variety of male balding patterns and speed in how they occur (from man to man) that makes many guys feel rather depressed and even victimised by nature if they experience particularly rapid forms of baldness.
Look online and you might think there’s a number of simple remedies to baldness. Just take X pills and/or apply Y spray topically, and your hair will magically grow back. Sure, there are creams and lotions that give the appearance of thicker hair, and medicines that can slow down the process of balding somewhat, but there’s no recognised cure to baldness - no magic pill that individuals can take to utterly assure hair growth, or even the prevention of hair loss.
However, there are hair systems, or toupees men can wear to camoflague their baldness. These hairpieces can be produced in accordance to their natural hair colour and type of baldness. Even close-up it’s frequently difficult to understand that there is indeed a toupee fitted. If wearing a hair system makes you feel confident when you would have otherwise been anxious, then it’s better to get one.

Semi permanent eyeliner can be ideal for many reasons beyond the inconvenience of those who detest a daily cosmetic application. Physical reasons such as age, decreased vision, and mental impairment may make permanent makeup a ‘medical need’ that the patient otherwise would not be able to do. Very active life styles that involve strenuous activities and frequent exposure to water make permanent makeup a near necessity for some patents.
Only pigment minerals are used during semi permanent makeup treatment and the use of chemicals is an absolute no-no. The mineral pigments used are rigorously tested for any after effects and are duly approved by a regulatory authority. For your satisfaction, you can also get an allergy test done on your skin, which is offered by most clinics.
Does the application of Semi Permanent Makeup hurt?
The level of pain depends upon the pain threshold of every individual. Some customers do not face any discomfort. For those who are sensitive to pain, proven topical anesthetics are used to numb the area under treatment. This reduces the discomfort to a minimum and most clients do not feel any pain at all. Another important factor is the competency of the practitioner in working on sensitive areas, such as eyes.

For years, women’s hair loss and wigs were not even on my radar. My photography career was my goal. That was true till last week when my hair wouldn’t be the same due to medical hair loss. I said that I shouldn’t sign off on the outcome of becoming a chrome-dome Bruce Willis of this world.
Personally, this meant life would be more challenging, robbed of my trademarked hair do. I believed that it would be impossble to regain full style. Boy, was I foolish. Previous to receiving my new real wig, I attempted a number of itchy synthetic hair pieces that didn’t suit my complexion. My soulmate Malcolm worked his magic and found a few medical wig stores offering human hair wigs I would love.
Well I walked to the store and checked it out. I found an inventory of glorious, beautiful wigs. Their specially designed African American wigs fit me perfectly.
Trying on the perfect hair piece, a girl akin to myself should grow bravery working towards growing comfortable with her alopecia. Not since I was a girl did I want to parade my latest voluminous hair. It was magical to finally regain my personality on the streets of Manhattan.
It’s possible I’m being ridiculous carrying on like this, however hair and fashion are essential to who I am. Is there a deeper meaning to individuality than an amazing flow of hair? Girl, it couldn’t mean much if it were true. Wigs are stylish fashion pieces to so many women.
I can’t believe what these blessings have meant to me. Only close friends and family know the truth of me and my cancer. Nevertheless there you have it, I’m simply glad to look fabulous for my husband again. Real human hair wigs improved things for me and everyone who depends on me.
Some could determine my attitude is silly. They’re wrong. I don’t care who you are, what creature comforts make existence so possible? For me, the secret is my family and my lace front wig.
Feel Good About Your Wig!

End The Cycle Of Symptoms With Bromalite
A toxic colon can create an immense amount of build up in your intestines. Toxic waste build up in your body can be very unhealthy for you. This toxin accumulation takes the form of perhaps fifteen pounds of fecal matter. When the colon is so backed up, the excess gas will not be able to pass as easily or as quickly as it should be able to. A toxic colon loaded with build up prevents the waste from passing not as easily, but also as often as it should, thus leading to constipation and thorough discomfort. By using bromalite, toxins can be removed from the body easily.
The act of colon cleansing has been going on since the beginning of time, or at least since the beginning of recorded history. It is still surprising though to consider that colon cleansing has been documented to have been going on since as early as 1500 B.C. in Egypt. Although many medical practices have come and gone out of style throughout history, colon cleansing is still used today, many years, decades, centuries, even a millennium later! Although many medical practices come and go throughout the years, colon cleansing is not one of them for it has only become more and more popular! Colon cleansing truly can be a life saver, as well as a body purifier, which is why we still practice colon cleansing now, so many years, centuries, even a millennium later. A great colon cleansing system to try would be bromalite. This system will help you immense, and will greatly lower your risk of getting chronic disease.
Many Health Benefits With Bromalite
The bromalite system is a gentle colon cleansing formula, one of which takes the shape of an oral dietary supplement. This is a gentle, all natural, dietary supplement that cleanses your colon. This colon cleanser also beats out the at home do it yourself suppository kits, for it is more effective than those do it yourself kits, and it is much more comfortable to consume, considering that it is an oral supplement, whereas the at home kits are typically suppositories. A colon cleanse will not remove all of your bodys toxins but it will flush out the majority of the toxins. With this colon cleaser, you can reverse these toxin side effects by making sure that you cleanse your colon on a regular schedule.

The family dentist can be one of the most important people that you and your family will ever see throughout your lifetime. Choosing a family dentist that meets your family’s dental needs will make going to the dentist a better experience for everyone and will help alleviate normal anxiety felt when attending visits.
Your family dentist should posses all of the normal requirements for becoming a dentist, such as the appropriate education and experience. Your family dentist will have one or more of two advanced dental degrees beyond undergraduate school. These degrees comprise of either (or both) a D.D.S, doctoral of dental surgery or a D.M.D, doctoral of dental medicine. Becoming a family dentist also require two years of predental education as well.
The family dentist should be someone who takes a personal interest in you and your needs. You should feel comfortable discussing you personal health related issues with them as well as asking the family dentist any questions that you may have in regards to your dental visits. You children should feel like they like your family dentist as well and should ideally not feel too anxious about visiting with them.
Seeing the family dentist regularly can be the best step in taking preventative measures with oral health. The family dentist will take x-rays and do periodontal probing to check the status of your teeth and gums. The family dentist will also perform teeth cleanings and high intensity fluoride treatment to prevent tooth decay.
Making sure your family dentist takes their time when doing their work can be an indication of the quality of work you can expect to get from them. Often times people think that the price of work says the most about the quality of work but this is not always true. Also, your family dentist should give you different options when you are considering different types of treatment. For example if you or a family member is getting a filling your family dentist may give you the choice of silver fillings or porcelain fillings.
Your should probably avoid any family dentist who engages in unscientific practices such as selling vitamins, practices holistic dentistry or diagnoses other disease not associated with the mouth.
A popular way to find a great family dentist is to talk to friends that have had positive experiences with their family dentist. Getting a positive referral about a family dentist can be the most important step to finding someone that will work for you.
